Kelly Johnson was there when a car hit a hydro pole in Oshawa and flipped over.
This was Friday night going south on Ritson. The entire road was blocked off in both directions just before Adelaide… and this was flipped upside down; it looked like movie scene, she recalled.
There was hardly anyone around… very few people on the street. The other thing was that there was no ambulance or fire truck. The ambulance may have come and gone, but I saw only five police cars, Johnson said.
On Friday, Oshawa Power reported a motor vehicle accident at Ritson and Adelaide.
“Hydro pole has been hit and vehicle is flipped. Please use caution if you are in the area and give the first responders the space they need,” it said.
