Durham police investigators are looking for a suspect after a shot was fired into a home in South Oshawa yesterday morning.
On May 27 at about 7:20 am, members of Central East Division responded to the area of Ritson Road South near Lakeview Park Avenue in Oshawa for the sound of a gunshot. A homeowner in the same area contacted police and reported that a bullet struck her residence, said a police media release.
Officers with the assistance of the K-9 Unit searched the area for the suspect with negative results. Police continue to look for the suspect who is only described as a male with dark clothing, it added.
No injuries were reported.
