Road closure on Beatrice Street East in Oshawa

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department has advised residents of a road closure on Beatrice Street East, from Mary Street North to Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2), in Oshawa.

When: Ongoing until further notice.

Why: To allow equipment access to repair a broken watermain and the surrounding area.

Note: Residents and businesses in the immediate area may experience a temporary water service interruption or decrease in water pressure during the repair. When the water service returns to normal, it is important for customers to turn on a cold water tap only and let it run for approximately five to 10 minutes to clean out any sediment that may have accumulated in your water service. This will avoid any sediment entering the hot water system.
