Durham Police investigators are asking the public to help identify a male who robbed a Whitby convenience store early yesterday morning.
On Monday, August 19 at 4:10 am, a lone male entered the Circle K convenience store on Brock Street North in Whitby with his face covered. He was brandishing a large knife and demanded money.
He fled on foot eastbound after receiving a small quantity of cash. Responding officers searched the area but no arrests were made.
The suspect is described as a male, black, about 5’10” tall, slim build, wearing a brown/tan camo-style jacket and black pants.
