Lane restrictions in Downtown Oshawa coming

Durham Region has announced upcoming lane restrictions in downtown and other parts of Oshawa from November 25.

There will be northbound lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North, between Bond Street (Regional Highway 2) and Richmond Street in Oshawa, as crews install water services in support of a new development.

When: November 25 to 29 and December 10 to 13.

Where: Simcoe Street North, between Bond Street and Richmond Street, in downtown Oshawa.

Why: To install water services in support of new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
