Largest standalone industry project in Oshawa

Toronto: Panattoni has launched their new industrial development in Oshawa.

Located at 1121 & 1147 Thornton Road South, the high-efficiency development is Panattoni’s first project in Durham Region.

Construction has started on two industrial buildings that are being built simultaneously and will total 630,000 square feet of development. Construction is to be completed in 2020

Located within minutes to Highway 401, the site will provide easy access to employee amenities and other 400 series highways. It will include high efficiency LED lighting, a superior clear height and shipping door ratio, ESFR sprinklers, as well as trailer parking.

Transforming Oshawa

Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter, said: “The Panattoni development represents an important step forward in the City of Oshawa’s transformation, and will become a key part of our commercial and industrial future. With over $5 billion in investment on the books, this is one of many new developments that will foster job growth and diversification as we continue to reinvent our economy.”

As a stand alone project, Panattoni’s is one of the city’s largest industrial unit, and represents a massive construction development and assessment value to Oshawa’s economic base. The timing of this development could not be better. This will provide some much needed jobs and we are confident and excited to note that the space is well positioned to lease up quickly, said Carter.
