A 22-year old man from Toronto was caught doing 161 kmh in a 60 zone by Durham police officers.
At around 3 am yesterday morning officers spotted a car being driven erratically near Townline Road North and Taunton Road in Clarington.
“The vehicle was captured doing 161 km/h in a 60 km/h zone,” said a police tweet.
The driver has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance, Operate Conveyance 80 milligrams or Above, Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance, Stunt Driving and Speeding.
He was released on an undertaking.
