A 19-year-old Ajax male has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a young person.
During the spring of 2020, it’s alleged that the suspect sexually assaulted the 13-year-old victim on several occasions in Ajax. On Thursday, March 4, investigators from the Sexual Assault Unit, with the assistance of the Electronic Crimes Unit and the Internet Exploitation Unit, executed a search at an apartment building in the area of Harwood Avenue South and Bayly Street West in Ajax and arrested the suspect, said police
The suspect from of Ajax is charged with 13 charges including Sexual Assault x 3; Possession of Child Pornography; Distribution of Child Pornography; Luring a Child and Extortion X2.
He was held for a bail hearing.
