Man held after domestic dispute stabbing

A 36-year-old Oshawa male has been arrested after stabbing a 46-year-old male at a residence in Oshawa last Tuesday, said a police media release.

On November 12 at 10:45 am members of Central East Division responded to a residence in the area of Laval Drive and Stevenson Road in Oshawa for a domestic-related incident. Officers located a 46-year-old male who had serious injuries, but non-life threatening injuries, after being stabbed several times. He was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre.

A 36-year-old male from Oshawa is charged with Aggravated Assault; Weapons Dangerous and Assault with a Weapon. He was held for a bail hearing.
