Police are investigating after a man with a gunshot wound attended a hospital in Ajax for treatment.
On Thursday, January 29, around 1:35 am, members of West Division responded to Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital located at 580 Harwood Avenue South after a man attended the emergency department suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transferred to a Toronto-area trauma center, where he remains in stable condition, police said.

Shots Fired in Oshawa
Police are requesting the public’s assistance following another shooting in an industrial area in Oshawa.
On Thursday, January 22, around 1 pm, members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Albert Street and Annis Street for gunshots heard earlier that morning. Officers attended and located bullet casings.
No injuries have been reported to police.
