Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said a man suffered life threatening injuries during a collision in Ajax.

Oshawa stabbing victim
Meanwhile, in neighbouring Oshawa, DRPS said police investigators are trying to identify a male suspect from the scene of a stabbing incident in Oshawa early morning.
On May 21 at about 1:41 am, members of Central East Division officers were called regarding an injured male at John Street and Simcoe Street South in Oshawa. Two males were involved in a verbal altercation which ended up with one of the males suffering stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
There is limited suspect information at this time, they added.
