Tractor driver dies in 3 am Uxbridge roll-over

A 59-year-old Uxbridge male has died as a result of a farm tractor roll-over in Uxbridge.

On Wednesday, July 31 at approximately 3:50 am, officers from North Division were called by a motorist for a roll-over of a farm tractor on Uxbridge Concession Road #3.

Officers located the 2015 red Massey-Ferguson tractor on the south side of the roadway and the operator deceased.

The roadway was closed for the investigation. It’s still unknown how the tractor ended up in the ditch. The tractor was not equipped with a roll bar. A post mortem will be conducted as part of the investigation.

The deceased is a 59-year-old male from Toronto.

Members of the DRPS – Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene to assist in this investigation. The area of the roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected. This is the seventh fatal collision on roadways patrolled by the DRPS in 2019.
