Jewel thief flees with a diamond ring in his pocket

Police are releasing images of a male responsible for a theft at a jewelry store in Oshawa.

On Monday, April 15 at 5:30 pm., a man entered the Michael Hill jewelry store in the Oshawa Centre. He approached the staff and inquired about a diamond ring. They provided him a ring to view but he placed the ring in his pocket and fled the store.

The suspect is described as male, black, 6′-tall, approximately 20 to 25 years old with dark hair and wearing a Canada Goose jacket, white shirt, white pants, white Nike shoes and a green bag across his chest.
