Men seen dragging woman into a home, arrested

Durham Police said two male suspects face numerous firearm and drug charges after police seized a firearm at a residence in the area of Bloor Street East and Ritson Road South in Oshawa.

On Friday, November 25 at about 7:45 pm, members of Central East Division responded to a call for a female seen being dragged into a residence. DRPS Tactical Support Unit entered the residence and located the suspects, who had attempted to conceal themselves within. Further investigation led to officers seizing a loaded firearm and a quantity of fentanyl, said a police statement.

The female victim received minor injuries.

This is an isolated incident, as the involved persons are known to each other, and there is no risk to public safety, the police said.
