A man was airlifted to trauma centre after he was involved in a collision with a van in Oshawa yesterday. He later died of his injuries.
Simco Street N was closed between Byng Ave and Robert Street as emergency services rushed the motorcycle driver to hospital and carried out investigations at the scene.
“Collision involves a motorcycle and a van. Male motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center with life threatening injuries. Traffic Services Branch will be heading to scene to investigate,” said a mid-afternoon police tweet.
“Simcoe St. in Oshawa, between Byng Ave and Robert St will be closed for a collision investigation,” it added.
