The Town of Whitby would like to thank the dozens of event volunteers who gave generously of their time to support this year’s fall events – the Brooklin Harvest Festival and Open Streets Whitby.
More than 150 new event volunteers signed up to be part of the Town’s new Event Volunteer Program, launched in April. To date, event volunteers have donated more than 475 hours to help with event set-up and teardown, organizing kids crafts and origami, taking photos, staffing the information tent, leading scavenger hunts, greeting guests and more.
