New video of man placing incendiary packages

Help police identify this man.

Durham Police investigators are releasing video surveillance of the suspect which depicts the man dropping off a suspicious package on Saturday evening in Oshawa.

On October 24, at about 11:15 pm, the male suspect in the video is seen attending the Pantry Convenience on Park Road in Oshawa, attaching the device to the entrance before fleeing on foot. The device was rendered safe by the police Explosives Disposal Unit on Sunday morning.

The suspect is described as male, white, in his 20’s, he wore all black clothing and white shoes. In the first incident he wore similar clothing, but with black shoes with white around the outer sole.

The incidents are related to stores that sell adult-related material. Investigators are asking any convenience stores in the area that may have had any suspicious packages or messages left on their premises that haven’t been reported to police to contact Det. Dellipizzi or D/Cst. McLellan of the Central East Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 2766.
