Clarington is organizing an Open House to discuss the new Newcastle Community Park design.
“Clarington is looking to build a new community park in Newcastle, and we need your help. Drop by the open house to view display material, ask questions and provide input into the design of Newcastle Community Park,” said a municipal announcement.
- When: Tuesday, February 25, 2020
- Time: 6 to 8 pm.
- Where: Diane Hamre Recreation Complex, 1780 Rudell Road, Newcastle
Newcastle Community Park will be located on the west side of the Diane Hamre Recreation Centre.
The project is included for consideration in Clarington’s 2020 capital budget.
Pending approval by council, construction of the park would begin in the summer of 2020.
Conceptual designs for the project will be displayed at the open house for residents to review.
