Nightly rolling closures of Highway 401 start

The Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) has scheduled lane restrictions and 15-minute rolling closures of Highway 401, between Thickson Road and Lake Ridge Road, Whitby announced yesterday.

There are rolling closures and lane restrictions also on Brock Street, between Consumers Drive and the Whitby GO Station Access, nightly from February 10 to 14, said a news release.

The lane restrictions and closures are needed to complete work on the new Brock Street bridge over Highway 401, as part of the multi-year Brock Street bridge replacement being led by the MTO, it said.
