Nine months of restrictions on Taunton in Pickering, Ajax

Durham Region is advising users of upcoming lane restrictions on Taunton Road West (Regional Road 4) in the City of Pickering and the Town of Ajax.

The restrictions are scheduled to begin on October 6 and last until June next. The schedule may be impacted by unfavourable weather conditions, the region said.

It said daily lane restrictions will be in place on Taunton Road West, from William Jackson Drive to Ravenscroft Road, in the City of Pickering and the Town of Ajax.

They are being implemented for the safe construction of a new watermain, the region said. Some residents in the area will experience intermittent water supply interruptions. The contractor will notify impacted properties 48 hours in advance of any planned service interruptions.
