Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday closed Winchester Road West for a couple of hours as one person had to be extricated from a crashed vehicle.
The collision occurred between Garrard and Thornton (east and west bound lanes), Whitby, said the DRPS.
No further details were available till late last night.
