Hilarious: Dog chases two robbers down Oshawa street

Two robbery suspects were arrested after they were chased away by a homeowner’s dog after an attempted robbery in Oshawa on Tuesday afternoon.

On August 6 at 1:45 pm, members of Central East Division responded to a residence on Park Road South in Oshawa.

Two suspects were inside the victim’s residence when they all became involved in a verbal altercation. One of the suspects pulled out a handgun and made a demand for the victim’s gold dental grill. The victim fought back and during the struggle, the victim’s large dog bit one of the suspects and chased them out of the residence and down the street.

The suspects were located by police nearby and they were arrested. One of the suspects was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

A replica firearm was located near the residence.

Jordon Ford, age 20, of Waller Street in Oshawa, is charged with: Robbery; Use of Imitation Firearm; Weapons Dangerous; Breach of Recognizance; Assault with a Weapon and Unlawfully in a Dwelling.

Nathan Linden-Gaskin, age 23 of Annapolis Avenue in Oshawa is charged with: Robbery; Use of Imitation Firearm; Weapons Dangerous; Assault with a Weapon; Carry a Concealed Weapon; Unlawfully in a Dwelling and Breach of Recognizance.

They were both held for a bail hearing.
