In spring 2019, the Oshawa community was asked to provide input on the development of a parking strategy that would outline recommendations related to parking requirements for residential uses citywide, including in Transportation Hubs and Intensification Corridors, and for all types of uses in Downtown Oshawa, said a city statement.

It invited community members to attend the Citywide Parking Study Phase 2 virtual Public Information Centre starting at 6:30 pm on Thursday, October 15. The virtual meet will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and can be accessed:

Community members can complete an online feedback form by visiting Connect Oshawa. Those who prefer to complete the feedback form on paper are asked to call Service Oshawa at 905-436-3311 during regular business hours.

Feedback will be received until 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 29 and considered in the finalization of the recommendations for the Citywide Parking Study.
