Oshawa stabbing victim safe, suspect flees

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday reported a stabbing incident in Oshawa.

It said the victim did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Members of DRPS Central East Division are responding to a stabbing call near Simcoe Street South and John Street East in Oshawa. More info to follow, said a police tweet yesterday.

“Officers are looking for a suspect in the area that fled on foot. The male victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital,” it added.
