The Works Department of the Regional Municipality of Durham, advised Newcastle residents that the west intersection of Lakeview Road and Sunset Boulevard will be closed beginning tomorrow.
When: The road will close January 13. Work is expected to be complete the week of April 6. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: The west intersection of Lakeview Road and Sunset Boulevard in Newcastle (Municipality of Clarington). Access along Sunset Boulevard will be maintained through a single lane at this intersection.
Why: To upgrade the sanitary sewer system in Newcastle.
