Part of Waterfront Trail closes until October end

The City of Oshawa yesterday announced the part closure of the Waterfront Trail for maintenance and upgrade purposes.

The trail will be closed from September 22 to November 1 from Park Road to Renaissance Park and from Renaissance Park 1529 Connery Crescent to Waterfront Trail, the city said.

It said the temporary closure is for the completion of grading and resurfacing along the trail

The work will be completed in two phases, and at least one trail corridor will be opened at all times with detour signage, the city said while offering apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
