Perfumes stolen from Shoppers in Oshawa

Durham Police investigators are trying to identify two males who threatened employees and stole a large quantity of perfume at an Oshawa Shoppers Drug Mart location on Monday.

On October 12 at around 1:40 pm, officers were called to the Shoppers Drug Mart on Taunton Road East in Oshawa regarding a theft in progress. Employees witnessed two males taking perfume products off the shelf and placing them in black bags. When an employee confronted the males, they threatened the staff. When one employee tried to stop the suspects, he was punched in the chest. The two males fled the store with the bags and drove away in a small blue sedan, said a police statement.

Suspect #1 is described as a male, white, about 24-30 years old, 5’6″ tall with a small build, skinny face with dark hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt.

Suspect #2 is described as a male, white, about 24-30 years old, over 200 lbs. with a heavy build, wearing a hoodie. He had short brown hair.
