A Pickering man is facing several charges following a Human Trafficking investigation, according to Durham Police.
The 21-year-old suspect was arrested on Tuesday September 17 by members of the Human Trafficking Unit.
Between August 1, and September 5, the suspect recruited a 22-year-old female to work for him as an escort in the GTA.
Rajat Banga, age 21 of Theoden Court in Pickering, is charged with: Procuring; Material Benefit From Sexual Services; Advertising Another Person’s Sexual Services and Obtaining Sexual Services For Consideration.
He was held for a bail hearing.
