Durham Police got their man. They arrested a wanted party in Whitby over the weekend.
Investigators were able to locate Simon Haagaard near a green space near Consumers Drive in Whitby and arrested him without incident.
Haagaard, age 40 of No Fixed Address is charged with: Theft Under $5,000 x 4; Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x2; Fraud Under $5,000 x2 and Use Stolen Credit Card x2. He was held for a bail hearing.
