Police looking for man who stole bathing suit from SportChek

Durham police yesterday asked for the public’s help in finding a male (above) after he stole clothing from a sporting goods store in Clarington.

On January 17 at about 11 am, a male suspect entered the SportChek located at 2401 Regional Highway 2 in Clarington. The suspect browsed various items before stealing a bathing suit and fleeing the area in a black sedan.

The suspect is described as: male, White, 40-50 years-old, approximately 5’9” tall, with a medium build, dark coloured hair and thin mustache. He was wearing a neck brace, black puffy jacket, white sweater, blue jeans, and white shoes.
