Police looking for three who stabbed 20-year old in Ajax

A 20-year-old male was taken to a local hospital after being assaulted by three males in Ajax on Saturday morning.

On October 9 at approximately 8:48 am, members from West Division were called to the area of Adams Drive and Ritchie Avenue for the report of a disturbance outside a residential home.

Officers arrived and located the 20-year-old victim who sustained defensive wounds as a result of an knife attack. The victim was assaulted by three unknown males who pulled up in a silver four-door vehicle. The injuries were non-life threatening and he was transported to a local hospital, police said.

The suspects are described as all male, South Asian. They fled in a silver four-door vehicle.

This was not a random act. It is believed to be a targeted attack.
