Property owners along White’s Creek can get up to $10,000

Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) is offering grants to landowners along White’s Creek for projects, according to a statement issued by the Township of Brock.

The funds can be accessed for a variety of conservation projects including:

  • Livestock fencing;
  • Streambank erosion;
  • Run-off control and cover crops; and
  • much more.

“We are looking to identify opportunities to restore and improve the creek and surrounding area,” said a LRSCA notice.

“Were happy to be offering grants for homeowners like yourself who live near the creek. These grants are for projects that will enhance and protect your property by improving livestock health, preventing soil loss and managing the water flow on your fields.”

To apply, contact restoration@lsrca.on.ca or 1-800-465-0437 for next steps.
