Ajax is giving away 1,500 Halloween kits full of family-friendly activities, crafts, treats and a pumpkin, said a town statement.
“Get into the Halloween spirit with Ajax’s contactless Pumpkinville drive-thru giveaway experience, in partnership with the Ajax Public Library, on October 28 at the Audley Recreation Centre – 1955 Audley Rd. N,” it said. “Bring your little ghouls and goblins along in costume to experience spook-tacular surprises and magical moments from the safety and comfort of your vehicle.”
Residents can register to pick-up Halloween kit presented by TD Bank Group.
How the drive-thru experience works:
- Pre-registration required at ajax.ca/TownEvents.
- Drive thru with trunk drop-off, drivers remain in their vehicles and staff will follow strict health & safety protocols, including mask & glove wearing, physical distancing, and hand washing requirements.
- Pick-up times are scheduled to stagger numbers.
- Open to Ajax residents only. Must provide ID with address.
Ajax said the fun continues at home, with TOA Instagram Pumpkinville photo contest.
How the photo contest works:
- Follow the Town on Instagram at instagram.com/townofajax.
- Take a photo of your carved pumpkin – you can even show off your costume!
- Share how you’re getting in to the Halloween Spirit this year.
- Tag our IG account – @townofAjax include #PumpkinvilleTOA
- All entries must be received by October 30 at 12 p.m. (noon).
- All entries will be entered in to a draw for a chance to win a Halloween Prize Pack, delivered to your front door before Halloween.
- All entries will be shared on the Town’s social media platforms.
