R.I.D.E in Pix: Police chiefs out enforcing traffic laws

Big guns of the police were out last night enforcing traffic law on the highways, roads and streets of Durham.

Durham Police Chief Martin joined the festive R.I.D.E. line in Whitby…spreading the message that impaired driving will not be tolerated in the region.

Deputy Bertrim, Supt Hutchinson and OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) officers are also on the R.I.D.E. line fighting impaired driving with the Durham Regional Police Services (DRPS) festive R.I.D.E. Team.

Not only did they book errant drivers, police also thanked motorists for their patience and handed out tokens of appreciation.
