Durham police investigators have released images of suspects from an online theft incident that occurred in June. If you recognize them, let the police know.
On Thursday, June 11,a 16-year-old teen was selling designer shoes online and agreed to meet the unknown suspects at a pre-arranged exchange location in Pickering. The victim was assaulted and had his cell phone stolen. The three suspects fled on foot to a nearby gold coloured vehicle. The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.
Suspect #1 is described as male, tanned complexion, 6′ tall, slim build, 18-20 yrs. He was wearing a black shirt and light pants.
Suspect #2 is described as male, tanned complexion, 5’5″ tall, medium build, 20-22 yrs. He was wearing a black shirt and black shorts.
Suspect #3 is described as male, tanned complexion, 5’8″ tall, heavy build in his 20s, full beard and short black hair. . He was wearing a dark T-shirt and shorts.
The suspect vehicle is described as a gold Honda Civic possibly 2008-2010 with tinted windows and a new blue plate.
