Durham Police Investigators have concluded that the allegations of an alleged abduction in September were false and the incident never occurred.
It was reported that a man tried to lure a 10-year old girl into his car.
Regardless of this new information, police would like students who may witness anything suspicious on their travels from school or home to contact school staff or in an emergency call police at 911.

– Young children should walk with a parent or guardian
– Try to walk with friends
– Don’t take shortcuts
– Don’t accept rides from strangers
– Don’t talk to strangers
