Collisions impacted traffic in Pickering and Oshawa yesterday while a fuel leak from a business vehicle closed of the Highway 401 ramp in Ajax on Thursday.
Announcing a traffic hazard, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division, said Highway 401 westbound on-ramp was closed in Ajax from Westne7 Road South due to a commercial motor vehicle fuel leak.
It said Whitby OPP officers were on scene and cleanup was underway.
Road Closure in Pickering
Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday said the southbound lanes of Brock Road and the westbound lanes of Bayly Street, near the intersection of Brock Road and Bayly Street, were closed for a collision investigation.
The eastbound lanes on Bayly Street were limited to one lane.
It asked road user to find an alternative route.
Road Closure in Oshawa
DRPS also announced a road closure in Oshawa yesterday.
Ritson Road southbound was closed between St. Eloi Avenue and Olive Avenue. Olive Avenue was closed in all directions due to a collision investigation.
Durham police asked road users to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
