The Municipality of Clarington has withdrawn notices of intention to designate three buildings in Bowmanville as heritage properties.
The three properties are located at:
- 38 Centre Street, Bowmanville
- 50 Centre Street, Bowmanville, and
- 38 Second Street, Bowmanville
The Municipality of Clarington has decided against the properties as of architectural and historical value under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.
Further information regarding the withdrawal of the notice of intention to designate the property can be obtained by contacting the Community Planning Division of the Municipality of Clarington Planning and Infrastructure Department during regular business hours, between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday, at heritage@clarington.net or 905-623-3379.
The announcement was made on 25th August.
