Shots fired early Friday at a home in Pickering

Durham police are investigating shots being fired at a Pickering house early yesterday morning.

On March 13 at about 1:50 am, members of West Division were called to a residence in the area of Twyn Rivers Drive and Altona Road in Pickering for reports of shots fired, a police media release said.

Officers responded to the area and were able to confirm that multiple shots were fired after finding shell casings nearby. There was also damage to a home in that vicinity, it said.

There have been no reported injuries to the occupants of the home.

Police searched the area with negative results.

There are no suspect descriptors at this time, but a dark vehicle was seen in the area during the time of the incident, police said.

Investigators are looking for the public’s help with any information regarding this shooting.
