West Division is investigating after several gunshots were fired in Ajax.
On Thursday, July 22, at approximately 2 pm, members of West Division responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Pickering Concession Road 5 and Greenwood Road. The complainant reported hearing several gunshots from a vehicle that was driving by. Officers attended the area and located several shell casings. There were no injuries and no damage to vehicles or property was located.
Forensic evidence was collected at the scene and the investigation is ongoing. There is no vehicle or suspect description at this time.
