Police looking for info after shots fired in Oshawa

Durham Police’s Central West Division is investigating after gunshots were heard in a north Oshawa subdivision early yesterday morning.

On January 20 just before 6 am, officers were called to the area of Hill Rise Court in Oshawa for the sound of gunshots.

Officers attended the area but did not locate any injured persons or vehicles. A pickup truck was observed circling the area before and after the gunshots were heard, said a police statement.

Members of the Central West Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are canvassing the area and are asking for any home security or dash cam footage from earlier this morning.
