The Toronto Police Service have arrested Sohanthen Udayashankar, 22, on charges of voyeurism. He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Sunday.
Police say it is an ongoing investigation and police believe that there are other victims.
How’d he do it?
On Saturday, July 6 at about 4 pm, Sohanthen attended the Eaton Centre located at 220 Yonge Street. He entered a clothing store and proceeded towards the unisex change rooms.
Sohanthen entered one of the rooms and placed a homemade recording device on the floor between the stalls and recorded numerous females changing.
A woman occupying a change room stall noticed the device on the floor and immediately notified security and police. Numerous video clips were seized containing images of unknown women.
