Spreading holiday cheer among Durham seniors

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officers will once again be reaching out to residents at long-term care homes during this festive season.

The 10th annual Seniors’ Christmas outreach program will see officers bring gifts and chat with residents of long-term care homes. Many seniors are alone during the holidays and front-line DRP officers want to remind them they are valued and important members of our community, said a DRPS announcement.
