Stolen car in crash, two flee on foot

Police are looking for two suspects who fled from a collision in Oshawa Wednesday late afternoon.

On Wednesday, September 1, at 4:30 pm, members of Central East Division responded to a collision involving two vehicles in the area of Grenfell Street and Elmgrove Avenue in Oshawa. A collision occurred in the intersection between a blue Nissan and a black Honda Civic. The two male occupants of the Honda fled on foot. The driver of the Nissan suffered minor injuries. Further investigation revealed that the Honda Civic was a stolen vehicle.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 – male, tanned complexion, late teens, long black hair. He was wearing a black hoodie, dark pants and a mask over his face.

Suspect #2 – male, black, slim build, 5’5″ tall, short black hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information that would assist investigators.

Investigators are also looking for any video surveillance or dash-cam footage from drivers in the area around the time of the collision.
