Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) on Friday responded to a suspected drug overdose call to assist paramedics in Oshawa.
On arrival at the scene with paramedics, the police found the male was not overdosing.
However, he was irate about someone stealing his property, the police said.
The incident took place on John Street and Centre Street
