Durham police yesterday said a 62-year-old male is facing charges following a sexual assault investigation in Whitby.
On Tuesday, August 11, members of Central West Division began a sexual assault investigation after it was reported that a 16-year-old male had been sexually assaulted while employed at a pharmacy in the area of Taunton Road East and Garden Street.
The victim reported that while working at the pharmacy, he was touched inappropriately multiple times by the manager.
On Wednesday, September 16, the suspect was taken into custody without incident, police said.

The suspect from Markham was charged and released on an undertaking.
