Two teenagers have been arrested as a result of an investigation into a robbery at a high school football game on Thursday.
Durham Police said on October 24 at 5 pm, two males approached a group of three males who had been watching a high school football game at the Civic Recreational Complex Fields in Oshawa. The accused became aggressive and at one point pushed one of the victims against a fence and started to choke him. He also attempted to steal his backpack. One of the males threatened another victim with a knife. The accused youths fled the scene on foot.
Minor injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.
Police were called to investigate and two youths have been arrested.
A 14-year-old and 13-year-old, both males from Oshawa, were charged with Robbery. The 14-year-old male was additionally charged with: Threats to Cause Bodily Harm; Possession of a Weapon and Breach of an OIC Undertaking.
