Thief breaks into Oshawa home, steals shotgun

Durham Police are investigating a break and enter where the suspect stole a shotgun from within a home in Oshawa on Monday.

On February 24 between 6 am, and 1 pm, an unknown suspect broke into a residence on Simcoe Street South in Oshawa and stole a legally owned Remington pump-action shotgun, said a police media release.

There are no suspect descriptors at this time; however, the investigations are on-going, it added.
