Three stores broken into Friday, suspects at large

Durham Police investigators are asking the public to help identify two suspects after three break-and-enters in Ajax and Pickering early Friday morning.

On February 12 at approximately 3:30 am, the suspects broke into the Domino’s Pizza store on Bayly Street in Ajax and stole property. Officers responded to the premise and found damage, however the suspects fled, said a police statement.

A short time later, at approximately 3:47 am, members of West Division responded to a commercial premise on Kingston Road in Pickering for an alarm call. Officers found a front door smashed.

While officers were investigating the second break and enter, they found a third premise, Pizza Pizza store with a smashed glass door.

It is believed that these incidents are all connected and investigators are releasing surveillance photos of two suspects and two suspect vehicles.

Suspect #1 is described as a male wearing all black.

Suspect #2 is described as a male, wearing grey baggy track pants, blue jacket and a hooded sweater.

The suspect vehicles are described as a dark SUV and a four-door sedan.
