Toronto seeks Durham Police help in shooting

Toronto Police Service (TPS) said it is approaching the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) for assistance in a shooting incident in the east of the city.

“A male shooting victim has been located east of the city, with serious injuries. He is believed to be the victim of the shooting on Port Union,” said a TPS tweet yesterday.

Reports said a car with a shooting victim was found in a Pickering parking lot.

“We are connecting with DRPS to confirm,” it said adding that there were no further details on the victim at this point.
